The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most prestigious design awards in the world - with entries from more than 4,700 participants from 56 countries in 2023. The submissions are spread across a total of nine disciplines ranging from product design, communication design, and packaging design to UX, UI, service design, architecture, and interior design as well as design concepts.
Owned by the certified non-profit iF Design Foundation, which promotes design and its social significance, the iF DESIGN AWARD is truly independent. Moreover, international design experts guarantee a transparent and fair jury process, allowing equal chances of winning for every participant.
Design students and graduates are not allowed to take part, but are invited to apply for our Student Award 2024 instead.

Jury process
The iF Online Preselection jury happens Dec. 4-8, 2023 after which you will receive a personalized detailed iF Jury Feedback Chart.
Any entries that pass the iF Online Preselection get evaluated by the iF Final Jury in Berlin (Feb. 20-22, 2024)
Modify your application based on feedback before the Final Jury. And send a physical or digital presentation of your project for evaluation.
