TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2026 – Submissions Now Open

Winners will be celebrated during Asia's largest bike show, gaining global visibility and industry exposure!

Driven by sustainability and technological innovation, cycling is now a defining force in global mobility and sustainable lifestyle. The TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2026 presents the theme "Cycling to Wellness", focusing on the supply chain, sustainability, innovation, and cycling culture, and setting new industry benchmarks. Co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Bicycle Association, the 14. TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards continues to pioneer design and innovation, celebrating industry breakthroughs that combine product innovation, R&D integration, and sustainable practices.

From stylish bike accessories and breakthrough components to AI-powered training equipment and complete bicycle designs, entries have showcased sustainable materials, intelligent mobility, and production optimization – addressing industry shifts and global trends. It’s innovative design, that drives the evolution of the cycling industry.

The 2026 awards feature six categories, ranging from non-powered bicycles to virtual cycling experiences and, from components to smart services. The awards emphasize industry innovation, cross-disciplinary design, and sustainable development, providing companies with a platform to demonstrate R&D and design excellence. All winners will be announced at the 2026 TAIPEI CYCLE show, where they will be featured in a dedicated exhibition area – drawing attention from global buyers, the media, and industry professionals.

TAIPEI CYCLE continues its collaboration with the iF DESIGN AWARD. Winners will not only receive free entry to the competition but will also directly advance to the Final Jury of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2027. This offers an opportunity for entries to benefit from the award's prestige to attract attention from both buyers and media. We invite designers, manufacturers, and distributors from all sectors to submit their innovative developments by 26 December 2025. We especially encourage startups and businesses dedicated to sustainable product development to compete for the prestigious "Gold Award – Startup" and "Gold Award – Green Prize."

The award is co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Bicycle Association. iF DESIGN ASIA Ltd. Taiwan, subsidiary of iF International Forum Design GmbH in Germany, has been commissioned to organize the award. In 2012, this award has become an important accolade for the global bicycle industry. Since its inception it recognizes outstanding innovative products in the bicycle industry, leading and reflecting industry trends. Winning products are exhibited yearly at TAIPEI CYCLE Show.
